Want to make the most of the sunshine? Stuck inside on a gray and rainy day? We've compiled a list of activities for a fun day out whatever the weather
Sunshine:
We have some really great parks in and around Surrey, pack a picnic, let the little ones run wild and make some new friends while you're there. Some parks have sand pits or paddling pools, so be prepared!
My daughters favorite day out is at the farm, it's usually relatively affordable and she gets so much out of it.
Rainbows:
Legoland Windsor is a great place to go when you're not sure what the weather is doing. It has inside rooms where the children can get creative with lego and duplo if the weather isn't so good, plus an undercover theatre for the little ones and a mini cinema for the older children. When the sun makes a break for it you can get in as many rides as possible!
Rainy days:
Garden Centre's are a great day out on a wet day, a lot of them have animals and fish, and you don't have to pay an entrance fee. You can usually get a yummy lunch there too (although it can often be pricey)
Nearly every town has a local soft play area. These are brilliant for those rainy days when your children have far too much energy to burn!
Swimming is always fun and a day of rain is the perfect time to go with the weather and get wet!
Ceramic Cafes seem to be popping up all over the place so why not find one near you and let your children get creative on a piece you can treasure?
We will be working further on this page and giving actual venues for the days out, but we wanted to get something on here for now. If you have an idea for a day out you'd like to share, or you have anything to say about the site so far please get in touch
